The WBDG is managed by representatives from multiple federal agencies and was originally a small site for sustainability recommendations. The National Institute of Building Sciences asked us to redesign the site to allow for a more broad scope of information on building design and development. For the past seven years, db interactive has developed and managed the WBDG site as it has grown to several hundred dynamic pages and visited monthly by over two hundred thousand users. We have helped them to:
- redesign the site to improve navigability and increase maintenance efficiency
- standardize content style and form for improved readability
- incorporate dynamic resource tools from government and private sector sources
- integrate access to online libraries like Construction Criteria Base and Information Handling Service
- create an online continuing education program using WBDG content
